We may or may not leave the light on for you, depending upon your request, but we will be happy to restore power when needed! Here is a quick tutorial about lost power:
Did a small area of your house lose power?
- Your circuit breaker within the main circuit breaker panel regulates the electricty which runs to the lights and outlets in that area. Circuits 'break' because the circuit needs replaced, one of those outlets, switches, or lights has a wiring issue, or one of the devices is pulling too much power. Solutions include a circuit panel upgrade, rewring the faulty area, or removing/replacing/repairing the device.
Did your entire house lose power?
- Your circuit breaker may have been oversurged with energy. We can help replace the circuit breaker, meter base, and service entrance cable which runs to your meter.
Did your entire neighborhood/street lose power?
- Power from overhead cable lines needs to be restored by the power company of your district.
